Back in 2003, I was asked if I could prepare some financial statements for court presentation. Using Excel, I created a well-designed and thorough package for my friend / client. These documents were prepared for a court-of-law. My friend insisted on compensation for my time and trouble so Purrfectly Simple was born.
Why did I do that? Because I was paid to do this work, I wanted to have my name on the documents and be within the law to accept payment for work performed. By doing so, I was authorized to accept payment and my client had "professionally-prepared" documents for the courts. To my relief, the courts had never seen such well-prepared documents and the court-appearance was successful.
Since then, I have dabbled in many things with regard to software applications. I write specialized forms, sheets, presentations, and now web site and maintenance almost daily. As I approach 50, it is my desire to expand Purrfectly Simple to a level that would supplement my retirement income. At least to the point of providing for health insurance.
I am a Quality Engineer for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in North Berwick, ME.
March 31 will represent my 28th year with the company. During this time I spent 3-years with UTC and traveled to many countries including China, France, Russia, Egypt, and India to name a few and found the experiences to be life-changing and wonderful.
I have been taking classes off and on since I graduated high school in 1976! I look forward to leaning and working with web-based documents and hope to have fun doing so.
