Purrfectly Simple has been in business since 2003 working to simplify everyday functions. Joan and Jim have over 30 years combined expertise and knowledge in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities. Together we developed training classes to keep your employees current and effective.

Honesty matters to us

It is very sad that many companies today lack in honesty, integrity, and seem to be generally uncaring about the needs of their customers. Joan had many opportunities to work with Mr. Harry Chambers, a well-known consultant specializing in leadership, team coaching and building, and organizational development. At Purrfectly Simple, we do what we need to do and strive to delight our customers. As we continue to develop our own training modules, we will provide a hands-on approach and assist your teams in creating their own standards.

Joan has over 15-years experience in continuous improvement activities with United Technologies and Pratt & Whitney. As a result of down-sizing and economic woes, she was laid off and then put her talents to use through Purrfectly Simple. Joan is a veteran of continuous improvement. Her work earned her two outstanding achievement awards from United Technologies, earned her Associate level of the ACE Certification program, and has brought her experience and knowledge to Purrfectly Simple. She takes the complexity out of the equation and brings with her a non-nonsense and simple approach to process improvements and problem-solving techniques. Recently married, Joan and Jim have combined their skills, expertise, and knowledge to create the Purrfectly Simple Customer Appreciation Tools (CAT)™ so that our customers may become even more profitable, competitive, and achieve increased customer loyalty.

Jim also has over 15-years in the continuous improvement arena and has actively participated in many Kaizen, lean manufacturing, 3-P, train-the-trainer, root cause analysis, and more. Jim used the UTC ACE tools to bring his business cell to ACE Gold standards using the ACE tools (RRCA, Mistake Proofing, Turnback Analysis, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). Jim manages multiple cells and continues to use to ACE tools to maximize product output while maintaining high reliability and quality. Jim has an Associate degree in Computer Applications, a Bachelors degree in Business Organization, and a Masters degree in Business Administrations.

In God We Trust
